eh tak larat!
salam
last morning i went to dr sheikh's talk.
dr sheikh who?
dr sheikh "dr sheikh"?
yep, the angkasawan one.
he went all the way to usm main camp (penang) to share the experience being 12 days in space.
..only to find out that the girls were turning into monkeys. crazy monkeys.
eeee! tak kosserrr
i tell you a, the hall was filled with 65% gedik girls, 15% calm girls, and 20% guys.
and because of those crazy monkeys, the pre-scheduled photography session was canceled. hahaha padan muke korang sume takdapat bergambar. sume gambar dari jauh je.

actually when vz forward the ym about the talk, i wasnt all geared to go. but last morning 630am sha stormed into my room and pakse2 jugak. aaa.. T_T
but alhamdulillah i found it worthwhile, because the talk was goood! very inspiring indeed, ala im easily inspired pon. so, dr sheikh ke, dr kavitha ke,, same aje. hahaha.
actually dr faiz was supposed to be here. but hes got another important thing to do. so only sheikh la coming.
and since vz is an ex-src, many important ppl knew her and gave her the seat depan depan. and then kitorang ikuutt je blakang vz tengok2 dah sampai ke 3rd front row seat. haha bes!
the way dr sheikh talked reminded me of my former lecturer when i was in 3rd/2nd/1st year, dr zulfaa. bes! and bes! i even recorded some videos but umm.. ala takde youtube la. haha. (tak reti pon)
ok cutting all the gedik girls turning animals crap, here are some interesting facts to share:
jadi kesimpulannye, just diversify.
and dont be an animal. haha

ok cutting all the gedik girls turning animals crap, here are some interesting facts to share:
- the kiblat during praying is always directed to the Earth, since the kaabah is located on Earth
- the prayer time is according to the launch pad's prayer time. and in this case, Kazakhstan's time. because when ur in ISS, the sunset and sundown is every 45 minutes, and takkan la nak solat 80 kali sehari kan? so, the ulama's all over the world have discussed about this and came to a conclusion where the prayers are still 5 times a day, and to be performed according to the launch pad's time.
- since the ISS has micro (almost zero i guess) gravity, when u sujud too long ur blood wont get to ur head. so avoid sujud too long. (duh bile kite nak gi space pun?)
- the feet need to be strapped to a fixed bar or somthing so that u wudnt be floating around while praying in the ISS.
- i think hes starting to feel the post-spacejourney aftermath. hahah. like mm lembab sikit. sikit je la tapi. (there was this scientist who had been staying 6 months in space (the longest period human can sustain in space is 6 months) and when he came back to Earth his brain got umm slowww gile. die jadi lembab laa senang cite. and yes, its the micro gravity effect)
- thats why in ISS all the scientists need to exercise at least 2 hrs per day. the micro gravity affects ur body very negatively. i dont know in what way, biologically.
- to be a cosmonaut/astronaut (same thing), the shorter u are, the better. because the Soyuz is too sempit gile to be cramped up for 6 hours.. so kalau pendek, lagi senang la kan.
- the view of Earth from the space is just superb. totally different from the website pics. and indescribable too.
- he doesnt know how to pronounce R. haha. ok lawak gak la.
- he pronounce greenwich, grin-wic. i think its grenich or somthing kan. haha lagi. cikgu hawa die tak ajar eh mase sekolah dulu? :p
- he was the 9th muslim to go to space.
jadi kesimpulannye, just diversify.
and dont be an animal. haha
