of rahmah
my parents arent home for the weekend. shudve thrown a wild party last nite. haha? kau ingat kau orang putih?
++
yesterday nite, i went to a qiam program with isma sisters. been awhile (a long while, sigh) since i last woke up at early dawn and do sunat prayers. (and not bangun terkejut and crap, tak solat isyak lagi!) alhamdulillah i was given this chance, but so teruk of me, kena orang ajak baru rajin?
and the program was good. i like seeing new, great people. i saw some girls about my age, god, almost all of them have commitment rings already on their fingers? haha, ok not even funny, and thats not exactly my point right now. anyways, there was a tazkirah about how girls can easily be the fitnah if we dont jaga our dignity in our daily lives. and that we shud keep our interactions at the very2 minimum level with non mahram guys. hm right, noted. but this kind of reminded me of my student days during undergrad where girls are of very little minor in my class and we have grown very used to our guy classmates whom turned out to be extremely nice, like brotherly nice, and helpful and they have been really good companies to us during those 4 years. i mean, can that be a special case?
the next morning, me alia and atiya ditched breakfast session to go to Shahjahan to get our own breakfast due to the sudden crave for roti mamak. lol. and we had this long discussion about figuring our lives out. well not really figuring la, but rather, i dont know, bonding session? there was this one, when alia pointed something like, can girls like us, i mean, not really berakhlak terpuji girls unlike the rest of isma sisters, stand a chance to get a good husband? haha kind of funny to even dream a good husband when ur not a good muslim yourself.
but then kan, what do you know, do you still remember Maria Al-Qibtiyah, Prophet Muhammad saw's last wife? Maria was a beautiful egyptian coptic christian who became a slave when she was very young who, the christian Ruler, or Muqawqis, of Egypt, sent to Prophet as a gift, in response to the Prophet's letter inviting the ruler to embrace islam. upon reaching madinah, maria embraced islam. hm, my point is, maria was not even a muslim and Allah bestowed her Prophet (saw) as a husband. fuhh thats just pure rezeki, bebeh. and of course, maria was truly a devout believer after she became a muslim and a wife. not just some woman who got lucky. (citation seriously needed!)
therefore, the answer for the above question is, yes, u still stand a chance, even if u dont wake up for qiam every night, even if u dont possess all the akhlak terpuji in the world, and of course not a slut as well. and i guess deep inside your heart there should be some rare kindness you have committed that Allah wants to reward with, for instance, you are very ikhlas in everything you do. and after all, being Al-Adl, Allah is always fair in His judgement. He wont pair somebody slutty with an absolute pious guy. er, all i can say is, Allah knows best.
wow quite a lengthy justification there, eh? im not backing myself up here, even though im aware that i dont possess all the akhlak terpuji in the world. haha. and i know i dont deserve a really2 great guy pun (crap!) i mean, ok, shouldve seen this coming pun and this is nothing of my concern pun right now. at least not yet. lol
earlier this night we went all the way to a masjid in USJ 2, Subang to attend an islamic talk from Dr. Jerald Frederick whom used to be a church minister from US. the title was "The Message of Love". i didnt really listening, like really listening intently to what he'd been saying due to the classic distractions, i.e. babies crying.
but what i would like to share here, though some of you might know better, is that Allah like, has 100 of rahmah. which 1 out of the 100 He'd gave out to the entire humanity. can you imagine, after billions of years this world has existed, there was only 1 of His rahmah to cater all the human needs. like, the entire, entire needs from time = 0.
and now, what would He do with the rest 99 rahmah left? well Dr. Jerald mentioned (i didnt get his muslim name) that Allah will save the 99 rahmah left during the day of resurrection. i mean, its supposed to be a good news right? imagine this, we can only enter jannah with Allah's Mercy, so just imagine there will be like 99 more rahmahs just like this 1 rahmah that we are currently being bestowed since time immemorial to get us into jannah. Subhanallah indeed Allah is the Most Merciful..
"just how forgiving is Allah?" a sahabat once asked Rasulullah saw.
"By My Power and Majesty, I will keep on forgiving My servant, as long as he is
asking Me to forgive him" (tak sempat nak salin ni hadis yang mane, again, citation needed)
later after the talk, we went to satisfy our growling hunger at Strawberry at Taipan, Subang, under the coerced recommendation of uswah. hahah and peh sedap gils. thanks uswah!
have a blessed sunday, you
p/s: so much for throwing a party lol
