meet the tahirs

full house, this week.
haha one of the common common things when you have a big big big big family :)
(not to mention the super hilarious laughter of my aunts and nenek at dining table hahaii)

yesterday i saw a bit of Meet The Robinsons at nick, thanks to najwa my lil cousin who had been glued to tv since morning. i never really layan Disney's animation films, and this one film pun caught my attention because they played Rob Thomas' Little Wonder song at the end of the story, with a nice quote written on screen

and last morning, nick reran Meet The Robinsons again and sempat la jugak layan few tens of minutes of it. and there is this dialogue between Wilbur and Lewis. ..which kinda struck me hard, straight to heart. erghhouch

Lewis: i don't even know what i'm doing.
Wilbur: keep moving forward.
Lewis: i mean, this stuff is way too advanced for me.
Wilbur: keep moving forward.
Lewis: and what if i can't fix this, what are we going to do?
Wilbur: keep moving forward.
Lewis: why do you keep saying that? and don't just say keep moving forward!
Wilbur: it's my dad's motto.
Lewis: why would his motto be keep moving forward?
Wilbur: it's what he does.

.. and i wonder why some people are just so reluctant to move forward and not just do it anyway. ok namely, ehem.. naaie.. ehem. ok i'd better not complete it.

anyways. the song Little Wonders is really sedap (at least to my ears) and has meaningful lyrics too.

and this one here i got from Ted from How I Met Your Mother.

there's this famous architecture story about an architect who designed this library. it was perfect. but every year, the whole thing would sink a couple inches into the ground. eventually, the building was condemned. he forgot to account for the weight of the books.

hah.
and what if i dont think of the weight of the books? i might be collapsed and condemned too.
its the little little things that help you build your big life. but they are also the ones that people often overlook. maybe because of the size? too small and been assumed negligible right from the start? well, size does matter lah?!

omg what am i doing still up at 1-ish in the morning quoting and reviewing tv?
