the end of ramadhan is looming. how was your last night of ramadhan?
it took us more than 1 hour to get to masjid uia from home (usually its 20mins). maha jam!! sume org pantai timur nak balik ikut karak highway. banyak jugak org pantai timur duduk kl ni eh?
now its gonna be syawal in about 5hrs.
i love everything about about hari raya, except:
1. raya songs! (the nasyid ones are ok. but not the lagu2 melayu lama the nostalgic ones..)
2. kids playing loud mercun. i think its not just a mercun. its a missile. a bomb. normal mercuns cannot get that heart stomping loud. nak berperang ke ape budak2 ni.
3. shoes shopping. i dread the idea of getting me a new pair of sandals/shoes because i know its gonna be toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hard to find the right ones for me (-that fits to my likings). usually i'll end up coming home with an asalkan-ade-sandal-selesa-dahla kinda shoes. regardless of raya or not, this time i really have to get a new pair of shoes, sebab i run out of kasut already.
4. looking bad in baju raya. i always look bad in baju raya. haha pasrah aje lah! harap2 taun ni bole jadi cun skit! hahah
5. since i dont want to sound like Grinch, this list ends here. hehe.
but the best part about raya is:
THE FOOD!
and
THE FAMILY(-ies) BONDING SESSIONS!
and of course,
THE DAYS OFF FROM WORK!
and yeah,
EVERYTHING ELSE!
